A person’s biological sex refers to their primary sex characteristics, such as chromosomes, sex organs (internal and external), genital anatomy and hormones, or to their secondary sex characteristics, which appear at puberty (such as breasts, facial and pubic hair, muscle mass, size and distribution of fatty tissue).
