Over an extended period of time, a person is intentionally insulted, threatened, ridiculed or harassed by one or more people. Harassment is repetitive and can be verbal, psychological and/or physical. The perpetrator(s), known as a bully, chooses a victim who seems unable to defend him/herself against his/her aggressions.
