Virginity is a term usually used to describe the fact that a person has never had sexual relations. Losing one’s virginity is often understood as having had penetrative sex, specifically penetration of the penis into the vagina. While this may be true for some people, others may define intercourse differently, as having had oral sex or genital contact with the hands. So it’s up to each person to decide whether or not they consider themselves a virgin.
